Tim De Meyer (pictured) has been officially appointed as the next Chief Constable of Surrey.
Following the approval of Lisa's preferred candidate by the Surrey Police and Crime Panel, Lisa said,
"Appointing a new Chief Constable is one of the most important roles that falls to Police and Crime Commissioners, as the Chief sets the tone and direction of the whole force. Having spoken with many residents, community groups, partners and staff and officers within Surrey Police, it was important to me to find a new Chief who understands your concerns and can take the force forwards into an exciting future.
Tim has a wealth of experience in policing and brings with him not only the energy and passion needed for an exceptional leader, but also a genuine commitment to work with partners and communities across our county."
